Statistics: Russia’s September LNG output flat at 2.5 mln tns

MOSCOW, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- Russia's production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) remained flat on the year and on the month at about 2.5 million tonnes in September, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Thursday.

In January–September, LNG production rose by 3.8% to 22.5 million tonnes.

Natural gas production decreased by 9.4% on the year to 430 billion cubic meters (bcm) in January–September, including about 48 bcm in September, down 0.4% on the year and but up 4.8% on the month.
